I’m Katherine Franklin, and I write science fiction and fantasy.
I have always enjoyed science fiction and fantasy, from The Lord of the Rings when I was eight (I wasn’t allowed to watch the film until I’d read the books) to Ender’s Game and the Temeraire series. Bringing new worlds and characters to life is why I love writing.
When I’m not writing fiction, I’m writing code for my day job as a software engineer. At any other time, you might find me painting miniatures, practising martial arts or attempting to walk a horse-sized dog.
I am currently working on my debut space opera series Galaxy of Exiles, of which the first two books are currently available in stores.
